Hallidays Point Landcare
Hallidays Point Landcare was formed in 1995. It joined with Hallidays Point Tidy Towns in 2010, which operated the Black Head Bazaar. In 2017, Hallidays Point Landcare decided to focus solely on land caring activities. The Black Head Bazaar is run by a separate association (which also does land caring activities).
Members meet regularly at working bees: Black Head on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8 to 11 AM (contact Alan 6559 3365) and Fridays at Seascape and Diamond Beach from 9 to 11 AM (contact Tim 6559 2827).
Restoration and protection of Littoral Rainforest is the primary goal but HP Landcare also works along local dunes, lagoons, creeks, and heathland.
